Luke has worked almost constantly in the lighting & sound discipline since graduating from GSA Conservatoire.
He has worked on a number of different shows, for a number of different companies including The Showman's Show 2006 at Newbury Show Ground, The Bath International Guitar Festival 2006 and The Bath Rugby Kit Launch for Enlightened Lighting Ltd.
Luke has recently been employed as number one technician at the Rondo Theatre in Bath, where he has worked on a variety of shows and for a number of different companies including The Natural Theatre Company, Norman Lovett (Red Dwarf), Preston Reed & Tony McPhee (Ex-Groundhogs)
Luke is also in the process of setting up Bathford Youth Theatre Ensemble (BYTE) a theatre group for young people in Bathford.
Luke is currently Social Secretary at the Bathford British Legion Club, where he books live music acts and organises the decoration of the club for different events.
One of the highlights of Luke's career so far, was working on "Ducktastic" (directed by Kenneth Branagh) at The Albery Theatre (recently renamed The Noel Coward) St Martins Lane, London. He also had the chance to work with Patrick Woodroffe one of the most iminent lighting designers in the world.
Luke has always had a strong interest in Lighting Design and some of his previous work includes Ghetto, The Full Monty & In The Penal Colony (GSA
2005-2006), Animal Farm, Stay Standing & Christmas Feast (Hotbath
Productions). Aladdin, Cinderella, Seasons Greetings & Treasure
Island.
Luke also has an interest in writing and directing, an example of his writing would be Grandma's Eyes (a musical play), Drugs, Thugs & Me & The Rap Nativity.
Pieces directed include Murdered To Death, Goldilocks & The Three Bears, Aladdin, Not As Bad As They Seem & Cinderella.
He recently choreographed the Stage Fights for a local version of Treasure Island.
